These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Resemy (the "Service"), operated by Resemy Solutions ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
The Service is powered by a large language model (LLM). Every resume rewrite, cover letter, application email, interview preparation content, reference letter draft, score, and evaluation you receive from the Service is generated by this AI — it is not written, reviewed, or verified by a human at Resemy before it reaches you.
The Service uses this AI to help candidates tailor resumes and cover letters to specific job postings, and to help hiring managers and recruiters evaluate candidate resumes and cover letters against a job posting. Scores, recommendations, and written content produced by the Service (including "ATS score," "Manager hit" score, and any evaluation recommendation) are AI-generated estimates only. They are not a guarantee of how any particular employer's applicant tracking software will score a document, nor a guarantee of interview or hiring outcomes. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content for accuracy before using, sending, or relying on it.
While every rewrite is grounded in the resume, job description, or other content you provide, AI-generated text can occasionally echo common phrasing found elsewhere. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is free of any third-party copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property interest, and you are responsible for reviewing generated content for this before relying on it for any purpose where it matters to you.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
The Service offers a Free plan with limited usage, and paid subscription plans ("Pro" and "HR / Recruiter") billed on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method automatically each billing period until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date through your account's billing settings. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change subscription pricing with advance notice; continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price. Promotional codes are subject to their own stated terms (expiry, eligibility, duration) and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion.
You retain ownership of any resume, cover letter, job description, or other content you upload or paste into the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you, including sending it to third-party AI providers for processing (see our Privacy Policy). You represent that Your Content is accurate to your knowledge and that you have the right to submit it.
If you use the Service to evaluate a candidate's resume or cover letter, you represent and warrant that: (a) you have a legitimate, lawful basis for processing that candidate's personal information (for example, because they submitted it to you as part of a job application), and (b) you will use any evaluation output as one input among several in your hiring process, and not as the sole or automated basis for a decision not to interview or hire a candidate, in compliance with applicable employment and anti-discrimination law in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for how you use evaluation results in your hiring process.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding (excluding Your Content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of our intellectual property rights to you.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or fail to pay applicable fees.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content, scores, or recommendations will be accurate, complete, or result in any particular outcome, including employment or hiring outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or employment opportunity, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
